We are very fortunate to have a swim club that hopes to give back to the community beyond the summer. Since 2018, HHSC has participated in "Sleep Out America" sponsored by Covenant House, a Catholic charity. This annual and nationwide event requests that we give up our cozy beds to sleep outside for one night in an effort to raise awareness of and funds for teen homelessness.
Our participation has increasingly grown in numbers and success. Our team was mentioned on the news back in 2019 and last year (2022) we ranked #2 in the NATION for fundraising!

We would love to have 2023, our 5th year, be the best yet! Please consider joining us on Friday November 10th, as we gather outdoors on the HHSC property, for conversation, firepits and great memories...all for an awesome cause. The event is open to all members, and all ages! And recently one of our participants spoke to CMS and found that credit can be received for volunteer service hours needed to graduate. This is a great learning experience for the whole family, while our children are having fun exploring the property at night!
