HUNTING HILLS EVENT CALENDAR
I bet all of you are currently dreaming about the pool, and more importantly, how you will look at the pool...ha! If you're like most of us this time of year, you are feeling doughy and pale and def NOT swimsuit material. Well we have a cure for that! It is called The Skinnier Dipper Squad: a group of us, you included? yes? will be committing to changing our shape/fitness level before the pool re-opens. Oh I can hear the grumbling already, the doubts, the eyeball rolling, but this is different. We will be together! We will be working toward your goal TOGETHER!
How's that again? Here's how it will work: you pick your goal, whether it's weight loss, lost inches, increased pull ups, push ups, burpees, etc., you decide what you are willing to do, and you put your money where your mouth is, instead of cookies and candies french fries.
How much? $25. WAIT! WHAT?!?! that's all? $25? yes, $25. AND you get it all back when you do what you set out to do.
What happens if I DON'T make my goal? The pot of money for members who don't make their goal is split by the ones that do!!! So if you make your goal you may come out with more money than you left with!
Additionally, you can benefit from our weekly e-chats, updates, inspirational quotes, comedic relief, and suggestions.
How do I prove anything? Well you have to do one private weigh in, measure in, commit-in meeting with the events coordinator, Reagan Williams, at her home on Jan 11th, write down your commitment, sign an agreement, and then electronically put your money in the communal pot. That's it. Then, on May 16th, you will have to come back to the Williams's home and prove your goal has been reached. That's 4 months to hit your mark.
So do I do this? YES! oh most definitely yes, yes you do. Just do it. Commit to a healthier happier you.
Happy New (you) Year!
Want to Join? Questions?: firstname.lastname@example.org
ps. all initial weights and measures can be submitted digitally via video and digital scale if you cannot or do not wish to make the meeting at the Williams's home on Jan 11th."
Summertime is almost here which means we NEED your help!
HHSC clean up days are right around the corner. This past Fall was so well attended, that we were able to tackle everything in just one day! We cut down dead tree branches, dismantled broken picnic tables and did a lot of socializing! The kids played in the clubhouse and around the property and had tons of fun!
This Spring we are looking forward to putting together some new picnic tables, some weeding/garden clean up, cleaning some lounge chairs etc. Think of this more like a big family reunion then work, because that’s how we’ve always thought of it!
We have two dates set aside (Rain or Shine!) April 25th & May 9th.
On April 25th, bring your kiddos with their bikes, scooters or anything with wheels! They can ride them around the property to keep them occupied or when they need a break from helping out! Also the clubhouse will be open for them to play.
On May 9th, we are going to do a POTLUCK! That’s right! Everyone brings a dish. We’ll set them up outside (Or inside the clubhouse if needed) and share some great food. Kids of course can still play around the grounds or in the clubhouse.
Bottom line is we are all proud of our pool. As owners of the pool, we want it look it’s best so we can attract new members. Let’s have some fun while doing some repairs and cleanup at the same time!
RSVP on Facebook or on this email if you can make it. Don’t forget to bring those teens so they can clock in some community service hours!
Hunting Hills has once again partnered with GL shacks for the evening of April 15th
The GL Shacks Fundraiser this past fall was historically the best fundraiser we've ever had as a swim club. The owner of GL Shacks is an original member of Hunting Hills from when it first opened and has a great fondness for the club.
So just stop by and have a drink or dinner and tell your server "you are here for Hunting Hills" and a percentage of the proceeds go to our club. Anytime between 4pm and close.
Enjoy some great food and see some of your summer family! And please tell your friends and family!
And don't forget to say "I'M WITH HUNTING HILLS!"

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Catonsville chamber of commerce for this event.
Our club will be the non-profit "hosting" for this night. What this means is we'll be the ones serving all the alcohol, setting up all the tents and cleaning up at the end. In the end we'll not only get a portion of sales for the evening, we'll get this platform to reach out to new and prospective members in Catonsville.
What do we need from you, our members? We need your help. We're required at a minimum to have AT LEAST 12 adults to work the event that evening. So even with most of our board members graciously volunteering we will need additional hands. We need help starting at 4pm all the way until cleanup at 9pm.
What can you do?
1. Reach out via email to marketingHHSC@gmail.com and let us know if/when/how you can make it out to help. Our marketing team of Chris Vedeloff and Kara Ripple would love all the help you can give.
2. Not able to physically help but still want to support your club? Show up in your pool shirts and colors and visit us and support us. We won't be hard to miss. We'll be selling all the beer and will probably have a membership table also setup. Show the community of Catonsville how unified we are as a swim club.
This is our chance to shine in the Catonsville community. We need everyone we can get to either help or attend. Hope to see you there!
Remember, email MarketingHHSC@gmail.com for more details.
